Another 2015 NFL mock draft sends Dorial Green-Beckham to Kansas City Chiefs

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

The first 2015 NFL mock draft from ESPN's Mel Kiper dropped on Thursday and we featured his selection of former Missouri WR Dorial Green-Beckham to the Kansas City Chiefs with the 18th overall pick.

Turns out, Kiper isn't the only one rolling with DGB to the Chiefs.

Daniel Jeremiah, an NFL network analyst who is also a former Eagles scout under Andy Reid, released his first mock draft (a day before Kiper, actually) and guess who he has the Chiefs taking ...

We knew the 2015 NFL mock drafts would be focusing in on receiver. I just didn't expect DGB to be that receiver. Way back in December when ESPN's Todd McShay posted his first mock draft, the Chiefs were paired with West Virginia WR Kevin White. Kiper had White going 15th to the San Francisco 49ers while Jeremiah had him going fourth to the Oakland Raiders. Obviously we're early enough that there are large ranges of opinion.

Speaking of large ranges of opinion, a reminder at how early this is. We're still three-plus months away from the draft. In two months there's a possibility that the selection of DGB will be laughably wrong. The one thing I don't expect to change is the focus on receivers. I wouldn't mind finding a good lineman with the 18th pick but it's hard to see many mock drafts moving away from receiver.
