Binns is a 6'3, 210-pound receiver out of Cincinnati. He has spent time with the Jaguars, Bengals and Dolphins since entering the league in 2011.
Here is what one Miami reporter said about him:
RT @KCChieferBoogie armon binns? Solid possession WR with deep speed. Decent route runner. No special teams value. Inconsistent at times.

This practice squad addition means one player will have to be released from the practice squad. I don't know if that's the case but if I'm guessing, I say LB Nico Johnson comes to the active roster with LB Derrick Johnson and DE Mike DeVito going on injured reserve.
Here is who was on the Chiefs practice squad: LB Jerry Franklin, DL Hebron Fangupo, FB Jordan Campbell, C Ben Gottschalk. G Ricky Henry. LB Nico Johnson. DE Kona Schwenke. WR Darryl Surgent, RB Charcandrick West and WR Fred Williams.
Here are some of the Chiefs options to replace DJ.
The Chiefs will have two open roster spots with DJ and DeVito going to injured reserve. One of them will be taken up by the return of Dwayne Bowe.
