Royals plan playoff rally at Kauffman Stadium before Chiefs host MNF at Arrowhead

The Chiefs host the Patriots on Monday Night Football just a few hours after the Royals host a rally next door.

The Kansas City Royals are in the playoffs is something I never thought I would type here. But I just did!

The Royals are hosting a playoff rally at Kauffman Stadium Monday at 11:30 a.m. As you know, the two teams share a parking lot so the Royals are asking their fans to exit the complex at 1:30 p.m. The Arrowhead parking lots open for Chiefs fans at 3 p.m. So hopefully there aren't any issues ... but I wouldn't blame Royals fans who wanted to stick around longer and soak up the moment.

From the Royals press release:

The Royals are asking fans to exit the Truman Sports Complex via the Bus Exit near Gate 6 promptly at 1:30 p.m. following the rally in order for the Kansas City Chiefs to prepare for their Monday Night Football game against the New England Patriots. "Take the Crown Rally" attendees with tickets to the Chiefs game will need to leave the parking lots after the rally and re-enter the parking lots when the Truman Sports Complex opens again at 3 p.m. for the Chiefs game.

So who is going to both? And how are you going to spend the 90 minute gap in between?
