The New England Patriots haven't played at Arrowhead since 2005 but Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is aware of what Arrowhead brings to the table. Belichick appeared on WEEI in Boston and was asked by the hosts, who had just heard Tedy Bruschi tell them Arrowhead is a difficult place to play, what challenges playing in Kansas City will bring.
"It is a tough place to play," Belichick said. "We haven't played in Arrowhead since they've re-done it so I'm not sure exactly what that brings. There's great energy out there. The fans are fanatical. There's a lot of crowd noise. I'm sure it will be as loud as it possibly can be on Monday night when we have the ball or are kicking it.
"We'll deal with that. It is a high energy place and of course coach Reid does a great job with his team. They're coming off a big year last year and a big win in Miami. I'm sure the juices will be flowing Monday night. It will be rockin' and rollin'."
Indeed it will be. The Patriots are a 4-point favorite in the game so the Chiefs will obviously need a big performance from Arrowhead to get it done.
