The Kansas City Chiefs have been busy over the last week. Really, really busy. In the last week the Chiefs have gone from 90 roster players down to 53 while placing several players on IR and signing players from other teams.

Monday, 8/25
The Chiefs released 11 players: WR Deon Anthony, DL Jairus Campbell, DT Jermell Cudjo, WR Weston Dressler, G Otis Hudson, WR Jerrell Jackson, CB Brandon Jones, CB Vernon Kearney, S Jerron McMillian, TE Adam Schiltz, WR Darryl Surgent
They also placed S Sanders Commings on IR.
Tuesday, 8/26
The Chiefs got down to 75 players by releasing three more players: T Ryan McKee, CB Kevin Rutland, CB Damond Smith.
Saturday, 8/30
The Chiefs released 17 more players: S Jonathon Amaya, S Malcolm Bronson, FB Jordan Campbell, DL Dominique Hamilton, WR Mark Harrison, G Ricky Henry, LB Alonzo Highsmith, LB Nico Johnson, DT Kyle Love, CB Justin Rogers, DL Kona Schwenke, K Ryan Succop, LB Devan Walker, OT J'Marcus Webb, RB Charcandrick West, WR Fred Williams, WR Kyle Williams
They placed two more on injured reserve: QB Tyler Bray, WR Kyle Williams.
The Chiefs placed DE Mike Catapano on the non-football injury list.
Sunday, 8/31
The Chiefs added eight players to the practice squad: FB Jordan Campbell, C Ben Gottschalk. G Ricky Henry. LB Nico Johnson. DE Kona Schwenke. WR Darryl Surgent, RB Charcandrick West and WR Fred Williams
The Chiefs released TE Richard Gordon and claimed DL Damion Square off waivers from the Philadelphia Eagles.
Monday, 9/1
The Chiefs added two more players to the practice squad: LB Jerry Franklin, DL Hebron Fangupo
The Chiefs also released WR Kyle Williams off injured reserve.
CB DeMarcus Van Dyke (waived / injured) was added to injured reserve after clearing waivers.
Tuesday, 9/2
The Chiefs signed free agent S Kurt Coleman.
