UPDATE Sunday AM: Doubt grows that Jamaal Charles will play vs. Dolphins
So everyone heard the news that Jamaal Charles was at practice for the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday. This after suffering a high ankle sprain last week in Denver. That type of injury generally takes more than one week to recover so it was a surprise to hear Charles was at practice.
This is an interesting situation for fantasy football players because many of you went out and picked up Knile Davis off the waiver wire earlier this week when news first came down that Charles had a high ankle sprain (which, again, is generally a multi-week injury).
The answer to everyone's fantasy football question -- will Jamaal Charles or Knile Davis play on Sunday vs. the Miami Dolphins? -- probably won't be answered until Sunday morning. Andy Reid is scheduled to speak to the media on Friday but it doesn't make sense for him to give any updates on Charles.
I would bet some money that when asked about Jamaal tomorrow, Andy Reid says, "We'll just see how it goes."

The Chiefs can (and should) list him questionable on Friday and make the Dolphins prepare for both.
So to answer your next question -- when will we know if Jamaal Charles or Knile Davis is playing in Miami? -- I would guess that we won't be able to answer that question until Sunday morning before the game.
If you picked up Knile Davis, I would not drop him. We need more information on Charles' status.
