Kansas City Chiefs try out a pair of veteran free agents

The KC Chiefs tried out OT Winston Justice and WR Damian Williams, according to ESPN's Field Yates.

The Kansas City Chiefs have lost a number of starters so they're keeping tabs on the free agent wire as the season goes along.

ESPN's Field Yates reports two players recently tried out for KC:

Justice is an interesting workout because of his familiarity with Andy Reid, who drafted him in 2006 with the Eagles. Justice was in Philly until 2011. When he was cut by the Broncos a few weeks ago I wondered if the Chiefs would take a look at him -- and this was before the Jeff Allen injury. It appears Ryan Harris will go into Week 3 as the right tackle but there isn't much depth behind him outside of Jeff Linkenbach.

Wide receiver is another area that has been problematic for the Chiefs but I'm not sure there's much they can do in the middle of the season for that. Williams was a 2010 third round pick by the Titans.
