As part of th Kansas City Chiefs 15 roster moves earlier this week, they released safety Daniel Sorensen. I said at the time that he was a good practice squad candidate given how much playing time he received this preseason. Turns out, I was right (for once).
The Chiefs on Thursday announced that Sorensen has been added to the practice squad. To make room for him, defensive end Kona Schwenke was released.
The #Chiefs have waived Kona Schwenke from the practice squad and have signed Daniel Sorensen to the practice squad.

Sosensen was the Chiefs third safety in the Week 1 loss to the Tennessee Titans so it was a slight surprise to see him released so quickly. But he will remain with the team and practice with them. If there's an injury to a safety this season, you can bet Sorensen will be among the first considerations for a roster spot given his familiarity with the defense.
I see why Sorenson got cut. Two special teams blunders. He hesitated to pull through the hole on the fake punt causing Gray to hesitate.

Sorenson also was offsides on the punt return which led to an additional three points for the Titans
