Chiefs roster cuts 2014: Tyler Bray to IR, Ryan Succop released

The KC Chiefs made roster cuts en route to 53 players by Saturday's 3 p.m. deadline.

The Kansas City Chiefs announced their roster moves today. The two big ones are that Tyler Bray has been sent to injured reserve, which means the Chiefs can keep all of their quarterbacks, including rookie Aaron Murray, and the Chiefs keeping Cairo Santos over Ryan Succop at kicker.

"As a collective football operation, coaches and scouts have held numerous discussions on each player during the evaluation process," said Chiefs General Manager John Dorsey in a statement. "We had excellent competition at every position and that's a great thing, but today we had to make some difficult decisions to narrow our roster to 53. We appreciate all the time and effort these young men put in for us and wish them all the best."
