The day has come. FOOTBALL HAS RETURNED!!
OK, it's just preseason and it's not even the Chiefs, who kick off the preseason on Thursday against the Cincinnati Bengals. But it's still football. The Buffalo Bills and New York Giants will meet Sunday evening in the Pro Football Hall of Fame game, which annually kicks off the preseason.
More: Chiefs first depth chart
Both the Bills (Andre Reed) and Giants (Michael Strahan) had an inductee into the Hall of Fame on Saturday night.
The first preseason game usually see a series or two from the starters before the back-ups come in. The third preseason game is historically the one in which the starters play the most. Last year, the Chiefs played their starters for about a quarter in the first preseason game.
This Bills-Giants game is a rematch of the 1991 Wide Right game.
