Chiefs' Dwayne Bowe, Eric Berry among those not playing vs. Vikings

A list of Chiefs not dressing for the Vikings game.

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced the following players are not dressing for tonight's preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings:

WR Dwayne Bowe, S Eric Berry, CB Damond Smith, RB Charcandrick West, LB Joe Mays, OT Ryan McKee, DE Mike DeVito, DE Kona Schwenke, WR Junior Hemingway, DE Mike Catapano and LB Josh Mauga.

Interesting to see one name not listed -- Jamaal Charles. It was reported by ESPN he wasn't expected to play. He injured his foot leaving training camp but returned to practice with the scout team this week. This doesn't necessarily mean that he will definitely play ... just that he's dressing.

All four quarterbacks will dress while Alex Smith and Tyler Bray are expected to see the bulk of the playing time.

Donald Stephenson's suspension doesn't start until Week 1 so he can play.
