Bovada has released some various odds on the 2014 NFL season, including defensive rookie of the year. KC Chiefs LB Dee Ford is tied for the 11th best odds to win the NFL defensive rookie of the year. Considering Ford is not a full-time player, it's hard to see him seriously competing for this award. I would move him up if he were a starter but as of now he is behind Tamba Hali and Justin Houston. Barring injury to either of those two, Ford won't play enough in the Chiefs subpackages to make a run at this. We shall see though.
Obviously, Jadeveon Clowney is tops on this list followed by Khalil Mack.
Jadeveon Clowney (3/1)
Khalil Mack (13/2)
CJ Mosley (9/1)
Ryan Shazier (9/1)
Aaron Donald (15/1)
Anthony Barr (15/1)
Darqueze Dennard (18/1)
Demarcus Lawrence (20/1)
Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (20/1)
Justin Gilbert (20/1)
Calvin Pryor (25/1)
Dee Ford (25/1)
Ego Ferguson (25/1)
Kyle Fuller (25/1)
Who will be the offensive player of the year?
Johnny Manziel leads this ... and he's not even the starter (but don't worry, there are odds on when he'll become the starter!). He's followed by Sammy Watkins and Brandin Cooks. Considering the amount the Saints pass the ball, Cooks has a good shot.
Who will finish the regular season with the worst record?
Jaguars lead at 3/1; the Chiefs are tied with the Rams at 40/1. Not sure why the Chiefs have the same odds as the Rams.
Which division will the Super Bowl champion come from?
NFC West leads followed by the AFC West. Sounds right. The NFC East has the longest odds.
