CB Chris Owens on being the old man at camp
"You said that because of the beard, huh? I should have cut it. It's my sixth year, but its football. I've been playing football since I was eight, so I love it. So if I can come out early, it's just an advantage for me. I love playing the game"
LB Dee Ford on whether he thinks about the other pass rushers
"I think about it all the time. This is pass-rush city. I'm very excited. It's going to be very fun. I can't wait to see them. I'm going to give them a big hug when I see them-all of them."
OT Eric Fisher on his weight
"I'm weighing about 315. I'm happy with that weight. I think they're happy with that weight."
K Cairo Santos on his range
"With no wind, or indoors, 60. If I have the wind to my back I think 65. I can go into the wind around 50. So, it's all about staying fresh for game day and you can hit those long ones."
WR Frankie Hammond on understanding the playbook
"It took a little while because all of the positions are interchangeable. So you've got to know every position from the tight end to the receiver and almost even the fullback at some point."
WR Junior Hemingway on his socks
"That is how I usually go around the summer. Crazy shoes, crazy socks."
C Eric Kush on putting on weight
"We have a ‘fat arm Friday' so we go in there and just kill the arms and everything. Somehow, someway that thing found its way onto Twitter and Facebook and stuff. I've been working. Haven't put on too much weight, just converting a lot of body fat into muscle and working on that ratio. It's been a lot of fun working this summer with (Anthony) Sherman, Jeff Allen and everything. Over the offseason it's been great."
Andy Reid on overusing a player like RB Jamaal Charles
"I haven't had one that I've over used before, and I've been doing it a couple years. So I think we'll be ok."
QB Alex Smith on his contract
"This is no longer the time to be talking and speculating and certainly the people talking to my agent in the front office I've told them the same thing. When something gets finalized let me know, but until then, don't bother me. That's the way I want it."
LB Tamba Hali on goals this year
"Our goals are set. There's only one goal we set - to get to the championship game. That's our mindset. We have to just take it a day at a time."
LB Justin Houston on his contract
"I'm not worrying about that contract. When it's time to happen, it's going to happen. My main focus is football. If you're worrying about that contract, it'll slow you down from the things you've got to do on the field and I don't want that to happen. So my main focus is football."
RB Jamaal Charles on what he's doing with his new contract money
"Save it."
OC Doug Pederson on using Jamaal Charles
"When it's in the heat of the battle, and it's kind of crunch time, you want your guys on the field, and that's the bottom line. Jamaal's a part of that and he's going to be on the football field regardless of how may touches he's had early in the game or how many plays he has leading up to that point, so when we get to that aspect of the game, then we're going to put our best guys out on the field."

P Dustin Colquitt on TE Travis Kelce long-snapping
"Travis is going to step in and be our second snapper and he looks good. It is different, as you know, as you get your head down between your legs and you've got a rush coming right after you, let go of the ball. He'll get there. He is athletic. That's what it takes: his athleticism and kind of knowing where that rush is coming."
WR Dwayne Bowe on whether he's seen a difference with his weight loss
"I haven't, but everybody else has. I always felt like I was at the tip top of my game. But I feel lighter, I feel faster. I owe it to the coaches, my trainers and the staff for leading me and letting me do what I do."

Clark Hunt on deciding whether to stay in St. Joe for camp
"I think the football side is the most important. Does the football staff, the coaching staff, feel like they are able to have an effective camp? Be able to get done what they want to get done here? There are a lot of things that go into that, a lot of small details. Andy is, I think, well known for his attention to small detail and the university does a nice job with those small details. So I think there are a lot of positives in terms of staying here. But as I said it's a decision we will make after training camp."
ST coach Dave Toub on RB De'Anthony Thomas
"His burst, his ability to make the first person miss, he's got that. Same thing Devin Hester had. The thing we need to work on with him right now is his catching and his ball reads. We'll see him in practice, occasionally, have to run late to make a catch. It's just a matter of him seeing the ball, where it's going to be. Have the ball chase him and not him chase the ball."
CB Phillip Gaines on leaders in the secondary
"I would definitely say EB (Eric Berry). I love watching him because not only is he just a really good athlete, he really understands the game, and that's what makes him excel so much.
Andy Reid on the kicking competition
"They are challenging each other. Both of them are good kickers. Today was a tie, I told them it was like the World Cup. We practiced for an hour and then they tied. It's still exciting to watch though."
LB Derrick Johnson on being 32 (I mean 31)
"First of all, I'm 31 - I'll be 32 soon. No, it hasn't crossed my mind. I've been fortunate and blessed not to have a major injury. Every year, when I go back to work out with Jamaal (Charles) and all of these guys - if I can keep up with these guys, I can come back."
LB Joe Mays on his plans for a day off
"Bubble bath. Bubble bath sounds nice, but I think I'm just going to try and relax, get off my feet, definitely hit the cold tub and try to spend as much time with my family as I can."
RB De'Anthony Thomas on what position he plays
"No, I just feel like I am a contributor. Wherever the coach puts me, I just am going to go out there, work hard and make plays."

OT Donald Stephenson on being an old man on the line
"Year three right? Really, we call Rodney (Hudson) the old man, but Jeff (Allen) and I have to take on that role as leaders, and if they need us to do it, we have to do it."
QB Aaron Murray on rookie hazing
"There's really no hazing at all. Guys are pretty cool. Coach Reid's not really down with all that craziness so he doesn't really allow it to happen."
RB Knile Davis on RB coach Eric Bieniemy
"Not only do I hear him in practice, but in my sleep. I wake up and he's still in my head."
LB Tamba Hali on having counter moves
"Very important. Once a good tackle studies you, they start to get a beat on what you do. You have to be able to do something else. Once they get that too, you have to be able to go back to something else. Most sacks come on counter moves. We rarely get sacks by doing one move and just getting there."
