This is a cool idea from the Kansas City Chiefs. (Maybe it's old news, but it's new to me.)
They're selling tickets to have your fantasy football draft in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium on September 1. The ticket costs $85 (minimum eight) but that includes a buffet and four beers.
The first 350 people will get a ticket to the Chargers game on December 28. That's not such a bad deal, especially with today's Brandon Flowers news.
Here's what the Chiefs say comes with the ticket:
- Private suite for your group
- Wireless internet access
- In-suite all you can eat buffet and (limited) beer
- One game ticket (per participant) to the Chiefs vs San Diego Chargers game on December 28th to the first 350 registrants
- Official NFL Fantasy Draft Kit
- Personalized photo of your League taken by a Chiefs team photographer
If you're playing fantasy football and you live in Kansas City and might be interested in the Chargers game anyway ... I mean, there's a worse use of resources, depending on what your version of Mrs. Arrowhead Pride has to say about it.
All the details are at the Chiefs site.
