LeBron James will become a free agent, Andy Reid probably interested

LeBron James will be a free agent. Look for the Kansas City Chiefs to show interest.

Now I see why the Kansas City Chiefs felt compelled to cut Brandon Flowers. They needed the cap space to sign LeBron James!

If you haven't turned on the TV yet, today's big news is that LeBron James will opt out of his contract with the Miami Heat and become a free agent, SB Nation has confirmed.

Is Andy Reid interested in the NBA's best player? Probably.

There was the time last October that LeBron James gave Andy Reid and the Chiefs a shoutout before he played an exhibition game at the Sprint Center in Kansas City.

There was the time last December that LeBron James wore a Chiefs jersey in a post-game interview.

Just a few weeks ago, there was the time Andy Reid talked about his guy LeBron. "LeBron is my guy, man. I like LeBron. He's alright. Tough kid."

LeBron in Kansas City? The Chiefs passing game would get better.

(To answer your question, yes it is a slow day.)
