Chiefs' De'Anthony Thomas, Weston Dressler return and more day two minicamp news

The Kansas City Chiefs got back to it on Wednesday for day two of mandatory minicamp. The lead story line continues to be Justin Houston missing practice. Read on for others who missed day two of minicamp, and those who returned. Previously: Day one minicamp report

De'Anthony Thomas returns

DAT left Tuesday's practice early. The Chiefs said after practice he was sick, presumably from that KC humidity and two-plus hours of practice.

Weston Dressler is back, too

Good news for the competition at the Chiefs slot receiver. Dressler went down last week with a hamstring injury. I was slightly concerned when he wasn't there on Tuesday but he was back on Wednesday.

Sean Smith misses another practice

The Chiefs said he was also sick on Tuesday. So we still don't know if Smith's demotion to the second team will last.

Three more players leave early

Andy Reid will be talking on Thursday so hopefully we have some sort of update on those guys. If not, it's a looong offseason.

Zach Fulton in the running at right guard?

This is something I noticed on Tuesday out at Chiefs minicamp. Fulton played a good chunk of the right guard reps and that continued. Maybe this means something?
