Kansas City Chiefs have four tryout players at minicamp

Four new names will be joining the Chiefs for mandatory minicamp.

Jamie Squire

The Kansas City Chiefs mandatory minicamp begins on Tuesday afternoon and they'll have four tryout players in attendance for the workouts.

  • Rutgers WR Mark Harrison
  • Cal Poly St. WR Cole Stanford
  • Utah State CB Quinton Byrd
  • Missouri CB Kip Edwards

These players are not under contract -- just tryout players. Maybe with a good performance they can earn a roster spot.

As ESPN's Adam Teicher pointed out, Byrd will be wearing No. 24 on the practice field ... formerly Brandon Flowers number.
