Welcome to day two of the 2014 NFL Draft! Day two includes the second and third rounds with the Kansas City Chiefs holding one pick -- No. 87 overall in the third round. The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) this evening.
The Chiefs will have a long wait on their hands with the No. 33 pick kicking things off and KC not scheduled to pick again until No. 87. It's possible they could trade up on day two but I'm not sure they have the ammo to do that with just five more picks, nor do I think they should want to do that.
Here is a list of the entire NFL Draft order. ESPN and NFL Network will be televising things this evening. We are scheduled to hear from GM John Dorsey after the third round is over this evening.
Positions of need for day two includes receiver, which GM John Dorsey has said on a number of occasions is a deep class. The Chiefs could also look to beef up their offensive line after the loss of three starting-caliber lineman in free agency. Safety is also another possibility with Kendrick Lewis and Quintin Demps exiting via free agency.
