While the majority of NFL teams have already gone through their first rookie mini-camp, the Kansas City Chiefs are among the few teams with a later date. Thus, the Chiefs rookie class will not begin rookie mini-camp until May 24-26, beginning this Saturday.
The Cardinals, Dolphins, and 49ers are among the teams with mini-camps this weekend. Then the Chiefs' veterans follow suit with OTAs beginning the very next day after rookie mini-camp ends. The first of three OTA sessions begin on May 27th.
Here's the full offseason schedule:
Rookie Minicamp: May 24-26
OTA Offseason Workouts: May 27-29, June 3-5, June 10-13
Mandatory Minicamp: June 17-19
In addition to the team's draft class, several undrafted free agents will also attend the mini-camp. That list includes RB Jakes Baker, safety Daniel Sorensen, WR Darryl Surgent, WR Albert Wilson, CB David Van Dyke, OL Ben Gottschalk, LB Ben Johnson, RB Charcandrick West, and kicker Cairo Santos.
