J'Marcus Webb bolsters Chiefs offensive line depth

Here's a closer look at the Chiefs' offensive line depth after signing J'Marcus Webb.

Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Spor

The Kansas City Chiefs bolstered their offensive line today with the signing of J'Marcus Webb, an offensive tackle with 44 career starts with the Chicago Bears and additional experience with the Minnesota Vikings. The move brings the offensive front into focus and should nearly finalize the unit heading into training camp.

While the Chiefs could definitely add another player depending on the moves of other teams, the current group brings reasonable depth to training camp and gives Andy Reid and his staff an idea of what they will likely work with once the regular season arrives.

The Chiefs went into the 2013 season with eight offensive linemen on the final 53 man roster. The Chiefs will be paring down from this list:

Tackles

Eric Fisher, Donald Stephenson, J'Marcus Webb, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, RJ Dill, Colin Kelly

Guards

Jeff Allen, Jeff Linkenbach, Rishaw Johnson, Zach Fulton, Rok Watkins, Ricky Henry, Otis Hudson, Chandler Burden

Centers

Rodney Hudson, Eric Kush, Ben Gottschalk

Who are the final eight from this bunch? And do you believe the Chiefs will add any others to the mix?
