The Kansas City Chiefs signed FB Eric Kettani to a reserve / futures deal after the 2013 regular season ended but they have now decided to cut him, according to a report from Herbie Teope of ChiefsSpin.com.
#Chiefs waived FB Eric Kettani Monday morning, his agent confirms. Kettani on Chiefs PS in late 2013, signed reserve/future Jan. 6 2014.

Kettani played football at Navy. Before joining the Chiefs practice squad last season, he was a 2009 undrafted free agent with the Patriots and spent time with the Redskins. Kettani has a unique background with his time in the NFL and the Navy, which you can read about here.
The Chiefs had 75 players on the roster going into draft weekend. They drafted six players and are in the process of signing undrafted free agents. This means some roster spots, like Kettani's, could be in jeopardy.
The Chiefs had Kettani listed as a 5'11, 240-pound fullback. Starter Anthony Sherman and Jordan Campbell are the other fullbacks listed on the roster. Considering Sherman had a solid first season, I would expect him to remain in that role entering the season.
Be on the look out for more potential Chiefs roster moves.
