We have more Twitter followers than anyone else in the Kansas City sports media (#humblebrag) so there are very few things on social media that we miss. Somehow, someway, we missed this very interesting tidbit from the KC Chiefs latest draft commercial.
That commercial, which you can view here and which aired during the NCAA Tournament, included this image of a phone number:
As the Kansas City Business Journal notes, that number goes to Chiefs GM John Dorsey. No, it's not his personal line but the KCBJ reports that some folks did receive calls back from Dorsey.
I called the number this morning and got this voicemail greeting from Dorsey:
"Hi, it's John Dorsey. Sorry I can't take your call right now. Thanks for the phone call and thanks for being part of the Chiefs Kingdom. I'd love to hear from you so leave a message at the beep."
I also texted the number to see if it was really him and got this auto-reply.
Give John Dorsey a call -- 816-646-2457. And let us know what you said.
