We've been talking about it for a while and finally -- finally! -- we have a date for the 2014 NFL schedule release. The NFL's PR folks have confirmed that the schedule release is coming at 7 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) on Wednesday night.

We'll have the full schedule here a few minutes seconds after it's released.
Things we'll be looking for include how many primetime games the Chiefs have, when they play the Broncos and how the season begins and ends. And everything in the middle, too. So, pretty much all of it.
The Chiefs and Royals (that's baseball) share a parking lot so they usually don't play on the same day. The Royals are on the road in Week 1 and at home in Week 2 and 3, which could mean the Chiefs are setting up for a home opener before going on the road for a couple weeks. Read more details on that here.
Chiefs 2014 regular season opponents
HOME: Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Tennessee Titans, St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks
AWAY: Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers
