Chiefs Should Be Happy With This Draft from ESPN

Latimer is big (6-2 1/2, 215 pounds) and fast (4.44 40-yard dash) and could eventually develop into that player. Even if not, he's another capable body to throw into their receiving mix. Muench's thought that the Chiefs could trade back a few spots, pick up an extra draft pick or two and still get Latimer is a solid one.

Mel Kiper Talks Returns Specialists from ESPN

After losing Dexter McCluster and Quintin Demps to free agency, look for the Kansas City Chiefs to draft at least one player with kickoff and punt return skills. The Chiefs had one of the best return games in the league last season, but only Knile Davis remains as one of their return specialists. Davis is still new to the return game and can handle kickoffs but not punts so the Chiefs are in need of some help.

Dwayne Bowe Walks Back Comments About Being Profiled Before Pot Arrest from ProFootballTalk

Bowe is coming off a year that saw him catch 57 passes for 673 yards, the lowest yards per catch of his career, and said earlier this offseason that he wants to work on his endurance after feeling tired as the season wound down. Getting more from Bowe on the field and keeping things quiet off the field would be a big benefit for the Chiefs, who would also get a boost by adding a complement to Bowe in the draft.

Athlon Sports Ranks Every No. 1 Overall Pick In The NFL Draft Since Expansion from Athlon Sports

14. Eric Fisher, T, Kansas City (2013)

By default, Fisher lands directly between the players who are deemed "good" and the players who are deemed "bad." He started 13 of the 14 games he played as a rookie for a team that made the playoffs. He has the tools to be the Chiefs' long-term solution at left tackle but only time will tell.

Winston Draws Praise As New NFLPA President from ESPN

The perception of Winston was built two years ago, when he was protecting Matt Cassel's strong side for the Kansas City Chiefs. Winston showed everyone -- thanks to countless replays -- that he's more than a big, burly blocker. After Cassel was knocked out of a game against Baltimore and booed by Chiefs fans, Winston verbalized his frustration with the fans and his disdain for their gesture. As Winston's voice rose, his passion for the sport filled the locker room.

Troy Vincent, recently appointed NFL executive vice president for football operations, is also a former NFLPA president. He thinks Winston's passion is only part of the reason he will succeed.
