A brief history of Kansas City Chiefs pre-draft visits

NFL teams bring players in for visits for the NFL Draft each year. They are allowed 30 prospect visits. We have a brief history of the Chiefs pre-draft interests below.

Jeff Zelevansky

Do pre-draft visits mean anything?

It's hard to draw any definitive conclusions from them but we have tracked the KC Chiefs draft visits since 2009 so we have some data available. The list of prospects visits are not made public so what we have to go on are media reports. There may not be much you can definitively draw from it but I still find it interesting, which is why we continue to track them.

The MMQB's Greg Bedard said this today:

To which Chris said:

You guys won't believe this but Chris was WRONG. There are a few more players than that who we have tracked in our Chiefs draft interests table that have made it to Kansas City over the years.

Take from this what you will but here are the players who were reported to have visited the Chiefs before the draft that the Chiefs eventually drafted. Remember, the Chiefs probably visited with other draft picks in these years but we don't have the reports to prove it. Click on the link in the year for the full draft interests table that year.
