Order of Kansas City Chiefs 2014 NFL draft picks

The compensatory picks handed out, we now know the Kansas City Chiefs 2014 NFL Draft order. The NFL has yet to release the officially official list but this one from Adam Teicher looks right to me.

The Chiefs traded two picks away -- second round (Alex Smith) and seventh round (Edgar Jones). They received an extra pick -- the Cowboys sixth round pick from the Edgar Jones trade.

I had forgotten about that trade but before last season the Chiefs sent the Cowboys Edgar Jones and their 2014 seventh round pick for the Cowboys sixth round pick.

Everyone remembers the Alex Smith trade from last year. They gave up second round picks in 2013 and 2014, with the latter being conditional that the Chiefs met.
