It appears the Kansas City Chiefs may end up letting free agent WR Emmanuel Sanders out of the building after all. Sanders, the former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, visited the Chiefs on Friday and, according to a report from ESPN, he has another visit scheduled with the 49ers.
Steelers WR Emmanuel Sanders now scheduled to visit SF on Saturday after spending today in KC.

I wouldn't consider this good news for the Chiefs getting Sanders but he's gotta sign someplace. The Chiefs need a receiver so there is a fit in Kansas City. Sanders, 26, has experience playing outside and in the slot. The Chiefs have a definite need in the slot with Dexter McCluster leaving via free agency and new Chief Weston Dressler being essentially an unknown at this point.
What's interesting is that Sanders has taken three visits already: Jaguars, Buccaneers and Chiefs. The 49ers will be his fourth. That seems like a lot of visits for a free agent, which makes me wonder what's stopping others from signing him. Money? I don't know. If it is money, the Chiefs don't have a ton of flexibility with just over $7 million in cap space following their three free agent signings earlier this week.
We await to hear more news on Sanders.
Update: Sanders is staying the night in KC.
A source tells me Emmanuel Sanders does have a visit scheduled with the 49ers for Sat. However, I’m told he JUST arrived in KC. #Chiefs

Sanders will be spending the night in Kansas City. So #Chiefs indeed have a chance to keep him here and never let him leave.
