It's now official. The Kansas City Chiefs announced three new free agent signings -- DB Husain Abdullah, OL Jeff Linkenbach and LB Joe Mays. Read about Abdullah's re-signing here and info on the new guys Linkenbach and Mays here.

Included in the announcement was this statement from KC Chiefs GM John Dorsey:

"We are excited to be able to bring back Husain Abdullah as well as add Joe Mays and Jeff Linkenbach to our roster. All three of these men will add depth and talent to our team as we continue to build for the 2014 season."

While Abdullah and Linkenbach might look like depth, Mays looks like the Chiefs next starting inside linebacker.

It also seems the Chiefs haven't officially announced the return of LB Frank Zombo, which was reported last week.

Here are the bios on each player provided by the Chiefs:

Abdullah (6-0, 204) has played in 70 games (26 starts) in five NFL seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs (2013) and Minnesota Vikings (2008-11).
