I love the NFL Combine because it's the first time since the end of the season that we'll hear from the Kansas City Chiefs head coach and GM. On Thursday, it was Andy Reid who took his turn at the podium for the annual NFL Combine press conference. On Friday, it will be GM John Dorsey.
Dorsey is currently scheduled to speak to the press at 12:15 p.m. (Arrowhead Time). There are other GMs and coaches speaking on Friday as well. The day will kick off with Dorsey's former boss, Packers' Ted Thompson, and end with the biggest enemy of them all, Broncos' John Elway.
Among the topics I suspect Dorsey will cover include the reported rise in the salary cap to $130 million and the Chiefs cap space, the future of Branden Albert and Geoff Schwarz, restructuring large contracts such as Dwayne Bowe and of course Alex Smith's contract, which has one year left on it.
