Former KC Chiefs martial arts expert, Master Joe Kim, reportedly headed to the Chicago Bears

Pass-rush consultant Master Joe Kim, who spent three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, has been hired by the Chicago Bears.

The Kansas City Chiefs last year took one of the Chicago Bears coaches in special teams guru Dave Toub. This year it's time for the Bears to take a former Chiefs coach.

According to a report from ESPN's Jeff Dickerson, the Bears have hired Master Joe Kim, a pass-rush consultant who was worked with numerous NFL teams, including the Chiefs.

You're familiar with him because Tamba Hali regularly worked with him. Hali would work on his hand movement with Kim and he would work up an incredible sweat before games. It looked like a hell of a pre-game workout. I've never seen anything like it.

I did not realize that so many teams were familiar with Kim's work. According to the ESPN report he has consulted for the Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, New York Giants, Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers and Penn State.

He actually worked for the Chiefs from 2010-2012. as a pass rush consultant. Here is a 2010 article on his work with the Chiefs, which is a neat read that includes quotes from big time NFL coaches such as Bill Belichick.

In other former Chiefs assistant coach news, the Lions have hired Jim Bob Cooter.
