The Kansas City Chiefs Week 17 playoff scenario was beating the Chargers and then having the Browns beat the Ravens and the Jaguars beat the Texans. The Chiefs did their part but the Browns and Jaguars did not.
But with the Chiefs doing their part, they helped the Ravens, who needed a Chargers loss, into the playoffs. Ravens coach John Harbaugh, who worked with Andy Reid in Philly before taking the Ravens job, said he owes Chiefs coach Andy Reid a dinner for the assist in beating the Chargers.

"I promised Andy dinner," Harbaugh said. "He responded very favorably to that. He's looking forward to his dinner. Probably won't be cheap."
Coincidentally, Reid just mentioned Harbaugh's name this week. Reid was talking about the job opportunities that Dave Toub, the Chiefs special teams coach might have and Reid put him in the same category as Harbaugh, who was also a special teams coach making the jump to head coach.
