For the first time since October the Kansas City Chiefs are underdogs*. According to SB Nation's NFL odds page, the Chiefs are 1-point 'dogs heading into Arizona this weekend to play the Cardinals.
The Cardinals are 9-3 on the season so the Chiefs being just 1-point 'dogs is notable. Of course the Cardinals won some of those games with Carson Palmer playing and have now lost two straight with Drew Stanton behind center after winning six straight before that (sound familiar, Chiefs fans?).
The Cardinals feel a little bit like the 2013 Chiefs where their record doesn't seem quite real. With Stanton instead of Palmer, are the Cardinals really a 9-3 team? Probably not. That's not to say they're not a good team ... they clearly are. But just like the 2013 Chiefs, there seems to be a ceiling for them.
Does a 1-point line seem about right to you? It does to me. This should be a close game.
*Some people had the Chiefs as favorites over the Broncos but others had the Chiefs. Kansas City was also a pick'em vs. Buffalo.
