UPDATE: The Chiefs 2015 preseason schedule has been released.
With the Kansas City Chiefs finishing the season at 9-7 and second in the AFC West (via the head to head tiebreaker over the San Diego Chargers) we now know their 2015 opponents. The NFL schedule is a formula so you know 14 of the 16 opponents far in advance and for the Chiefs we were just waiting to see where they finished in the division.
Here are the Chiefs 2015 opponents on their schedule:
HOME: Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions (London), Buffalo Bills, San Diego Chargers, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders
AWAY: Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Houston Texans, San Diego Chargers, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders
Note that these are not official until the Chiefs confirm it so don't go making travel plans until this is official. The actual schedule usually comes out in April sometime.
At first glance, that looks like a difficult schedule because the NFC North was a good division this year. The Packers and Lions are two of the best teams in the NFL this year, along with the usual games against the Broncos and Chargers. I'm already not looking forward to playing JJ Watt and the Texans.
Also, the Chiefs will play the Bills for the 8th straight season. Weird.
