The Kansas City Chiefs head into their season finale against the San Diego Chargers without Alex Smith, who will not play because of a lacerated spleen suffered last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Among the other Chiefs inactives are Donnie Avery and Marcus Cooper.

It would appear we could be seeing the end of the Donnie Avery era in Kansas City. The same could go for Marcus Cooper, which would be surprising given he was a starter entering the season. The Chiefs will have decisions to make after the season.
Here are the Chargers inactives:
#Chargers inactives: Mike Scifres, Keenan Allen, Ryan Mathews, Greg Ducre, Chris Watt, Damion Square, Ryan Carrethers, Cordarro Law.
