The 8-7 Kansas City Chiefs host the 9-6 San Diego Chargers on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium. The 12 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) kickoff can be seen on CBS. A Chargers win and they're in the playoffs. The Chiefs will need to win plus have the Cleveland Browns beat the Baltimore Ravens and the Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Houston Texans. Both the Browns and Jaguars are big underdogs.
The Chiefs were favored in the game until Alex Smith went down on Friday with a lacerated spleen. Smith will not play which means Chase Daniel will start. Daniel's only other start as a Chief came last year in Week 17 against these same Chargers. San Diego won that game. The Chiefs beat the Chargers once already this season, 23-20.
Is there any question Chase Daniel(s) is throwing a TD pass to a WR this week?
