Kansas City Chiefs have 4 players selected to 2015 Pro Bowl, including Jamaal Charles

Congrats to the four Pro Bowl Chiefs players!

The 2015 NFL Pro Bowl rosters were announced on NFL Network and the Kansas City Chiefs had four players selected to the game on January 25, 2015.

The Chiefs 2015 Pro Bowlers are:

  • Jamaal Charles
  • Dontari Poe
  • Tamba Hali
  • Justin Houston

Each of this year's entrants has been named to the Pro Bowl before. For Charles, it's his fourth Pro Bowl nomination and he's the only offensive player selected from the Chiefs. Both Houston and Hali have made their third Pro Bowl, while Poe picked up his second straight Pro Bowl nod.

Through 14 games played, Charles has 979 rushing yards and 14 total touchdowns. He missed the third game of the season due to injury.

As for the pass rushers, they should need no introduction. Houston leads the NFL in sacks with 18 and has 20 tackles for loss. He's also forced three fumbles. Hali has been very disruptive opposite Houston and has six sacks, seven tackles for loss and equals Houston's three forced fumbles.

Poe continues to shine in the heart of the Chiefs defense with five sacks from the interior among his 43 total tackles. He also went to the Pro Bowl last season and has established himself as one of the game's elite interior defenders.

Some players around the league will not play in the game due to a variety of reasons so replacements could be picked. The Chiefs last year had eight players picked initially and then two more added as replacements.
