The 2015 NFL Pro Bowl rosters will be announced at 7 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) this evening on NFL Network. The game will be played on Sunday, January 25.
Jamaal Charles should be a good bet despite his statistical down year due to his early season ankle injury. Justin Houston is a sure thing with him leading the NFL in sacks. Beyond that I don't think there are any slam dunks ...
Travis Kelce and Sean Smith are both good candidates, as the commenters have pointed out.
FB Anthony Sherman should be in consideration. He's had a good season at his position. LB Tamba Hali doesn't have as strong of a case statistically but he's still been good. P Dustin Colquitt is the man and deserves to make it.
Who else am I forgetting on the Chiefs?
The Chiefs had 10 Pro Bowlers last year: Alex Smith, Derrick Johnson, Dexter McCluster, Branden Albert, Justin Houston, Tamba Hali, Brandon Flowers, Eric Berry, Dontari Poe and Jamaal Charles.
The Pro Bowl is now done by a fantasy-style draft with captains. Read all the rules here.
Sixty seconds maximum per pick, but captains need not take the full time to make a selection.
Fifty-six players, 28 per team, will be drafted or assigned from the following position groups:
" Four wide receivers
" Three tackles
" Two tight ends
" Three quarterbacks
" Three running backs
" Three outside linebackers
" Two inside/middle linebackers
" Four cornerbacks
" Three safeties
" Three defensive ends
