The Kansas City Chiefs expect to have Dwayne Bowe despite a shoulder strain he suffered in Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Chiefs coach Andy Reid made the announcement on Monday that Bowe was hurt but sounded confident that he would be able to play on Sunday against the San Diego Chargers.
"Knowing Dwayne, he doesn't miss much," Reid said. "I think he'll be OK once it's all said and done here."
The Chiefs schedule is a little different this week with Christmas on Thursday but Reid is confident that he'll be available come Sunday at Arrowhead when the Chiefs will need him in a must-win game (well, only must win if the Ravens and Texans lose).
There are a few other injuries from the game:
- G Zach Fulton strained his foot.
- LB Josh Martin bruised his hand.
- CB Phillip Gaines had flu-like symptoms before Sunday's game.
