NFL playoff clinching scenarios for every team in Week 17

New, comments

Here's how every team still in it can make the NFL playoffs.

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

With just one more game remaining in Week 16, nine of the 12 playoff spots are locked in. We're still sorting out seeding but here are the nine teams who have clinched a playoff spot so far:

AFC
New England (AFC East and a first-round bye)
Denver (AFC West)
Indianapolis (AFC South)
Pittsburgh (playoff berth)

NFC
Arizona Cardinals (playoff berth)
Seattle Seahawks (playoff berth)
Detroit Lions (playoff berth)
Green Bay Packers (playoff berth)
Dallas Cowboys (NFC East)

We already know the Chiefs playoff picture -- beat San Diego with a Baltimore and Houston loss.
