Kansas City Chiefs WR Donnie Avery is inactive and will not play vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, marking the second straight game he is a healthy scratch.

I'm not surprising you by saying this is probably Avery's final year in Kansas City. With the emergence of Albert Wilson lately, the Chiefs have a cheaper, younger and arguably better option for their No. 2 receiver.
In better news, WR Dwayne Bowe and LB Tamba Hali are active and will play on Sunday. Bowe had been out all week with the flu.
Meanwhile, the other surprise on this list is Marcus Cooper being inactive. I guess we should've seen it coming with the Chiefs finally having corners Jamell Fleming and Phillip Gaines healthy and on the field at the same time but it's still a little jarring to see him inactive when he was the No. 2 corner coming into the season.
