There is a scenario where the Kansas City Chiefs can lose to the Pittsburgh Steelers and still make the playoffs but that's very unlikely. The Chiefs easiest road to the playoffs is to win out, beating the Steelers this weekend and the San Diego Chargers in Week 17. Kansas City would be guaranteed a Wild Card spot if they do that so that makes this game in Pittsburgh basically a must-win game. The same goes for Pittsburgh who can clinch a playoff spot with a win over the Chiefs.

The Chiefs are 3-point underdogs in the game which actually isn't that high of a number. The home team usually gets a point or a few so oddsmakers see this as a close game. I also see it as a close game but there are a few major problems for the Chiefs. The first is they can't stop the run very well and Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell is very, very good. The Chiefs will also have to contend with WR Antonio Brown, who has 115 catches and nearly 1,500 yards through 14 games. The Chiefs will rely on their defense to create turnovers and keep the Steelers off balance.

The game will be played in Pittsburgh where the Chiefs haven't won since 1986. Consider that most Chiefs players weren't born in 1986. Time to change that.
