Jamaal Charles will play vs. Raiders, two other Chiefs likely won't

New, comments

Despite missing Wednesday's practice, Jamaal Charles is ready to play this weekend against the Oakland Raiders.

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

The Kansas City Chiefs ruled DE Allen Bailey out for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders with a concussion. This will be the second consecutive game Bailey has missed due to the concussion. You can expect to see Vance Walker with more snaps once again.

CB Phillip Gaines suffered a concussion on Wednesday during practice so he is listed as doubtful for this game. I wouldn't expect him to play, which is unfortunate for the Chiefs because he has had a nice run in the second half of the season. CBs Jamell Fleming and Marcus Cooper are candidates to see more time in his absence.

LB Tamba Hali is listed as questionable but did practice in limited fashion on Friday after missing the previous two days. So that's a good sign. If he can't go, Dee Ford could see more snaps.

The final big name on here is Jamaal Charles, who is probable and will play despite several injuries.

Here is the Chiefs final injury report for the Raiders game.
