The Kansas City Chiefs did not come out of their 17-13 victory over the Buffalo Bills unscathed. RB Cyrus Gray and TE Demetrius Harris suffered serious injuries.
#Chiefs RB Cyrus Gray suffered torn ACL and TE Demetrius Harris fractures foot. Both are out for season

Reid said Harris could be out for a few weeks or more so I don't know about being done for the season. His injury happened in pregame. I'm not sure exactly when this happened but I am guessing it came sometime after 10:30 a.m. or else the Chiefs would have made him inactive. The list of inactive players is due at 10:30 a.m. Harris was the Chiefs third tight end and the Chiefs like to use three tight end formations. It would not surprise me to see the Chiefs sign another tight end in the meantime because they only have Anthony Fasano and Travis Kelce remaining.
Gray tore his ACL which we in Kansas City know is a season-ending injury. Gray will be missed on special teams. Chiefs special teams coach Dave Toub has said a few times that Gray is one of the leaders on special teams.
These are both backup players but the Chiefs have thrived this year because of their depth. They'll now have at least one roster spot open for Gray, and possibly another if they decide to end Harris's season.
