Broncos' Julius Thomas, Aqib Talib out; Chiefs' Donnie Avery, Jason Avant are active

Two notables players missing this game for the Broncos.

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos inactives are out with the highlight being Broncos TE Julius Thomas and CB Aqib Talib being ruled inactive for the game.

That's huge news for the Chiefs. Both are very good players for Denver.

The Chiefs inactives are QB Aaron Murray, CB Jamell Fleming, C Eric Kush, OL Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, WR Junior Hemingway, TE Phillip Supernaw, DT Nick Williams.

This means that the Chiefs will have Donnie Avery and Jason Avant suited up. Avery is playing for the first time since Week 4 after a midseason surgery. Meanwhile, Avant was signed up this week.
