How the Kansas City Chiefs plan to replace Eric Berry

There have been a number of changes over the past week so it's a good time to take a look at the depth chart the Kansas City Chiefs have provided for Sunday night's game against the Denver Broncos.

With Eric Berry now off the active roster, the Chiefs have Ron Parker listed at his spot at safety. That's what we expected to happen following the Berry news. Parker did a nice job replacing Berry, who was out earlier this season with an ankle injury.

At cornerback, the Chiefs list rookie Phillip Gaines as the starter opposite Sean Smith. This means Marcus Cooper is behind Gaines. If the depth chart holds, it would be Smith and Gaines on the outside and Chris Owens covering the slot. The Chiefs could then work Cooper and Jamell Fleming in. We'll see what Bob Sutton has in mind.

At receiver, Donnie Avery is listed ahead of Jason Avant, who was added to the roster this week.
