Chiefs rule out two WRs vs. Raiders, Anthony Fasano is questionable

Updating the Chiefs injury report for Raider week.

John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports

The Kansas City Chiefs will once again be without two of their top three receivers when they visit the Oakland Raiders on Thursday Night Football. Donnie Avery and AJ Jenkins have both been ruled out, according to reporters at Andy Reid's press conference. That means we can likely see another large dose of Frankie Hammond opposite Dwayne Bowe at receiver.

The Chiefs will also be without CB Chris Owens, who returned briefly from injury only to hit the injury report again. His spot will likely be replaced by Phillip Gaines, who has done a nice job in the last few weeks.

The Chiefs list TE Anthony Fasano and CB Jamell Fleming as questionable for Thursday's games. Fasano did not play last week which led to Travis Kelce playing all but two of the snaps. Phillip Supernaw steps up and becomes the second tight end if Fasano can not play. Meanwhile, Fleming has been out for multiple weeks so I'm not sure whether he'll be ready to jump in or not. The Chiefs have done a good job without him the past few weeks.
