The Kansas City Chiefs will be without multiple key contributors when they host the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. The Chiefs inactives include TE Anthony Fasano, who was questionable entering the game.
Here are all the Chiefs inactives:
QB Aaron Murray, WR AJ Jenkins, WR Donnie Avery, CB Chris Owens, CB Jamell Fleming, OL Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, TE Anthony Fasano.
This could mean a lot more playing time for Chiefs TE Travis Kelce.
New Chiefs TE Phillip Supernaw is active as well as RB Charcandrick West, who was just promoted to the practice squad this week after RB Cyrus Gray went on IR.
Jenkins and Avery were ruled out before the game. Their injuries will force Frankie Hammond into the lineup at receiver. With Owens out, the Chiefs are likely going to be using Phillip Gaines in the nickel. Meanwhile, I'm assuming Ron Parker plays another week at cornerback with Fleming still out. Eric Berry has been back so he takes his spot at safety once again.
#Seahawks' inactives at KC, no surprise: S Terrell, CB Burley, LB Coyle, LB Wagner, T McDonald, G Carpenter, TE Allen. @thenewstribune
