And the 2014 NFL power rankings say .... the Kansas City Chiefs are a top 10 team!
Indeed the power rankings are pretty much all in agreement on this. The Chiefs 6-3 record and the fact they have won six of their last seven games has solidified their spot as a top 10 team. The Chiefs play the Seahawks this weekend and the Broncos in two weeks. That will tell us a lot more about this team. I'm excited for it.
Here are the Week 11 NFL power rankings ...
SB Nation: 7
The Chiefs came away with another impressive win in Buffalo. Riding their increasingly suffocating defense and Jamaal Charles-led rushing attack, the Chiefs have a formula that you can win with late in the year and are winners of four in a row. They're now only one game behind the Broncos, who are atop the AFC West.
ESPN: 10
With a win over the Patriots and a loss to the Titans, are the 6-3 Chiefs actually good? Hosting Seattle this week should be insightful either way.
CBS Sports: 10
If there is one big concern, it's the passing offense, which ranks 30th in the league. That has to improve down the stretch.
Yahoo Sports: 10
It wasn't the most dominant performance at Buffalo, but the win was enormous in this crowded AFC. The Chiefs haven't had a really bad result since Week 1.
Fox Sports: 9
Ron Parker's forced fumble as Bills RB Bryce Brown was trotting into the end zone was one of the best hustle plays of the season and made all the difference in this win.
