Chiefs' De'Anthony Thomas, Donald Stephenson active vs. 49ers

New, comments

Good news for DAT and Stephenson.

Jamie Squire

The Kansas City Chiefs have released their inactives for today's game against the San Francisco 49ers.

This means that De'Anthony Thomas and Donald Stephenson are both active today. DAT has yet to play this season with a hamstring injury suffered shortly before the season opener. It'll be interesting to see if the Chiefs work him in at punt returner and anywhere on offense. Stephenson is coming off his four-game suspension so he has yet to play this season either. It's not clear yet if he will start at right tackle or if Ryan Harris will.

Marcus Cooper was questionable this week but is active and will apparently play. This is good news for the Chiefs secondary.

As announced earlier this week, Eric Berry and Donnie Avery are both out of this game. Berry continues to recover from a high ankle sprain while Avery had surgery this week.

On the 49ers side of things, this tweet below is great news for the Chiefs -- the 49ers have not won without Vernon Davis.
