Alex Smith was injured in Sunday's Chiefs-Rams game but it doesn't appear to be anything too serious as he will practice on Wednesday as the Chiefs prepare for the New York Jets.

Smith played the entire game last Sunday and nobody even knew he was hurt until Andy Reid said something about it after the game. Reid called it a sprained shoulder but was optimistic that Smith would be fine. The fact that he is practicing on Wednesday is a great sign that he's going to be OK.

Whew. That was our first mini-scare regarding Alex Smith's health.
We'll see if the Chiefs end up listing him on the injury report later today.
